1. What does Pro Vision Center do?

Pro Vision Center is a locally owned eyewear store specializing in custom prescription eyewear, sunglasses, and lenses. 2. Do you have an eye doctor on site?

There are independent doctors on site for our Auburn location and South Paris, feel free to call us and we can direct you to them. Our South Portland location does not have one next door but many in the area. Think of us like a pharmacy for your glasses — simply bring a valid prescription from your eye doctor, and we’ll take care of the rest!

3. What should I bring when ordering glasses?

You’ll need a current prescription and, if you plan to use insurance, your vision insurance card or information. We happy accept HSA/FSA cc for your purchase, and can provide an itemized receipt for your purchase & OON benefits.

4. Can you help me choose the right frames or lenses?

Absolutely. Our team specializes in personal styling and custom fittings. We’ll help you find frames that suit your face shape, lifestyle, and prescription needs.

5. How long does it take to get my glasses?

We offer 1 hour service for in stock Single Vision lenses. If you are looking for same day service please reach out to the desired location to see if we have your lenses. Turnaround time for other lenses varies depending on your prescription and lens type, but many orders are completed quickly thanks to our in-house lens edging labs.

6. What vision insurance plans do you accept?

We’re an in-network provider with EyeMed, including Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, Northeast Delta Dental, and others. We also work with most other major insurance companies through open-access benefits.

7. Can I use my HSA or FSA benefits to buy glasses?

Yes! Prescription glasses, sunglasses, and even lens upgrades qualify for HSA and FSA spending. Don’t forget to use your benefits before they expire.

8. Do you accept out-of-network insurance?

Yes, we’re happy to help you file for reimbursement through Anagram and make sure you get the most out of your benefits — even if we’re not in your plan’s network.

9. What types of eyewear do you carry?

10. Do you offer same-day service?

For in stock single-vision prescriptions and lens replacements can be completed the same day, depending on your needs and lens availability. Contact your desired location to inquire further.

11. Can you replace my lenses in my existing frames?

Yes — we can fit new prescription lenses into your favorite frames, as long as they’re in good condition. Contact us for more information.

12. Do you offer eyewear for children or specialty needs?

We carry eyewear for all ages, including durable kids’ frames, sports eyewear, and specialty designs for specific vision requirements.

13. Do you offer adjustments or repairs?

Yes, we do! We are happy to offer adjustments and minor repairs to keep your glasses comfortable and in great shape. Contact us for more information.

We have three convenient locations in Maine:

15. Do I need an appointment?

No appointment is needed! Walk-ins are always welcome — just bring your prescription and stop by any of our locations.

18. What if I’m not happy with my glasses?

Your satisfaction matters to us. If your glasses don’t feel right, we’ll make adjustments or remakes to ensure you love your eyewear.

19. How do I clean and care for my glasses?

Use a microfiber cloth and lens cleaner (available in-store) to keep your lenses clear and scratch-free. Avoid paper towels or clothing, as they can damage the lenses. If you are in a pinch we also recommend lotion free dish soap and a clean tight cotton cloth.
